Images offers a small variety of body treatments but we do not have a spa pool, bath or shower facilities, however we remove body scrub and body mask treatments with pre-prepared moist hot hand towels which we use to wipe down your body. This can be just as relaxing as the treatment itself as you experience the equivalent of a bed bath!
“Spa” is often used in the Beauty Therapy Industry to describe any treatment that involves body or pampering experiences.
Body Scrubs / Exfoliation / Skin Refinement 60 mins $110
For bright, smooth, baby-like skin, try a salt scrub all over the body (not face) to exfoliate and remove dead skin. This is followed by a nourishing body moisturiser that we will massage over your body. See our Body Pamper section below for more details.
We use – a Dry Brush, or Loofah Mitts, Dead Sea Salt / Sea Salt or Sugar.
Our favorite treatment incorporates our Italian Mandarin Body Salt Scrub, Body Mask and Body Moisturizer – the perfume is lovely and the whole clinic can smell amazing when someone is having a body scrub or pamper.
Another favorite is our White Tea and Vanilla Sugar Scrub and matching Body Moisturizer.
Imagine pampering your entire body with the equivalent of an all-over facial.
We invite you into our beauty room, get you to undress (you can leave on your underwear) and then lie down on our comfortable massage bed. You will lie down on what we will wrap you in – we use a large thermal wrap with towels, sheets and a warm duvet.

Often a body pamper, or body wrap as it is commonly called, begins with exfoliation through dry brushing or a salt scrub.
We also use loofahs or fine castor sugar or salt (dead sea salt or normal salt) to rub the surface of your skin. Exfoliation removes dead skin and reveals healthy younger skin to the cleaned surface. We incorporate massage techniques as we apply our body products.
Often we start with you lying face down to treat the back of your legs and your back, then roll you over to treat the front of your legs, arms and finishing with stomach and chest.
After exfoliating we will then apply the warmed body mask – Dead Sea Mud, Italian Mandarin Body Mask, Manuka Honey or Algae (Sea Kelp) Mud Mask.
We then wrap you up in our towels and duvet for 20-60 minutes during which we can either give you a scalp massage or if you want a complete Spa Package we can include a facial (Top To Toe Spa Package)
After the wrap time is over we will unwrap you and begin removing the body mask. We use moist HOT towels to gently wipe away the mask. (Like a bed bath – very sumptuous).
Then we massage your body with a luxurious body moisturising lotion to continue the Body Pamper. We use a variety of perfumed body creams. White tea and Vanilla or Italian Mandarin – really yummy!

Dead Sea Mud contains 100% genuine black mud & minerals from the Dead Sea in Israel. The mud cleanses, moisturizes and removes impurities from the skin leaving it freshly glowing. It stimulates blood circulation and is effective in the treatment of rheumatism. Incredibly moisturising and great for psoriasis and other similar skin conditions. Rinses extremely easily from your skin – testament to its moisturizing qualities.
Manuka Honey (UMF 5 to 20) has natural healing, antibiotic and antiseptic properties. It can be an effective, natural remedy both when taken orally and when applied externally to ulcers, skin disorders, wounds, cuts, burns etc. Manuka Honey has been shown to stimulate “granulation” or new skin growth.
Due to cost constraints we only use UMF 5 Honey as a body mask. Higher UMF Manuka Honey can cost $1 per gram or $250 per 250 gm Jar because of their world recognised medicinal properties.
New Zealand’s ‘healing honey’ provides important advantages over other forms of dressings and ulcer treatments. It allows wounds to remain moist which makes for easier, less painful, removal of dressings and helps promote scar-free healing. Honey also has no side-effects and is currently being used in hospitals around the world to treat skin ulcers, skin infections and irritations and certain antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
When used on healthy, uninjured skin it has a deep moisturising effect and is thought to stimulate regeneration or rejuvenation of skin tissue which can be felt within minutes of application – skin becomes warmer and more hydrated. The aroma of warm honey permeates the clinic – reminiscent of warm toast and breakfast.
Manuka Honey is a wonderful facial mask but is a truly indulgent body treatment.
Algae Mud Mask – a combination mask from Joyce Blok containing Algae extract and sea mud to moisturise, detoxify, hydrate and soften your skin. It has a pleasant smell and feels soft and luxurious as we apply it.
